A list of gigs is on my diary page but here are some details of current collaborations…
Maxa, The Most Assassinated Woman In The World – Sarah-Louise Young and I have been working hard on our ensemble musical based on the life of Paula Maxa, star of the Grand Guignol Theatre in Paris. 28 songs later, we hope to offer a public showing next year…
Fascinating Aïda – My big news this year is that I’m joining the legendary Fascinating Aïda for a December run on the Southbank and then a two month national tour in February and March. See all our dates here.
Here’s a song I co wrote with them a few years ago called Down With The Kids:
Jess Robinson – Musical comedian and impressionist Jess Robinson and I have just completed a UK Tour and a run at the Soho Theatre with her Edfringe hit show ‘No Filter’. You might also hear us on Radio 4’s ‘The Now Show’. We are currently preparing her new show ‘The Jess Robinson Experience’ for Edfringe ’19. Info.
Dillie Keane – Dillie and I have had a marvellous time touring the UK and playing an Off-Broadway run. We filmed her DVD ‘Hello Dillie’ which is available here.
Roulston & Young – My duo with Sarah-Louie Young.
‘Je Regrette!’ – Sarah-Louise and I last performed this award winning show at Watermans Arts Centre, London and will be at Rosehill Theatre, Whitehaven, UK in July.
Dusty Limits – Dusty and I completed our second album of original material entitled “Life & I”. It’s been a journey of great value to both of us and we have worked with some amazing musicians and engineers. We are also indebted to our Kickstarter pledgers for helping us . You can listen and buy it here.
Julie, Madly, Deeply – We are currently touring this show celebrating the life and work of Dame Julie Andrews devised with Russell Lucas. We had a fantastic Edinburgh Festival run, a West End run at the Trafalgar Studios, a UK tour and a Toronto run. We played the Brits Off Broadway Festival, NYC in June. Info and dates here.
Christine Bovill – Christine and I have been touring England & Ireland with her wonderful ‘Piaf’ and ‘Paris’ concert shows and we recently played a run at Wilton’s Music Hall where we received a standing ovation nightly and this glowing review. A clip of our memorable performance with Charles Dumont, composer of “Non, Je ne Regrette Rien”, “Mon Dieu” and many other Piaf favourites below…
Zedel Open Mic Party – I am resident pianist for the Zedel Open Mic night in the Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly. This is without doubt the most beautiful cabaret room in town, possibly the world. It’s always a joy to play there with Robert Rickenberg and Jonathan Kitching and our host, Harold Sanditen.
